Yes and no. It is obligatory to attend this Riders Briefing. Also for your own safety. However, there will also be a livestream, which will be available online afterwards.

How are the starting blocks for the main race divided?
The starting blocks are divided based on the results from the team time trial on Saturday. The exact number of teams cannot be determined in advance, as it depends on the sizes of the respective teams qualifying for each starting block. Non-participation of the team time trial will automatically result in placement in starting block E.
Block A: approx. 200 people (rough orientation: Men's Teams 1-10, Mixed Teams 1-10, Women's Teams 1-5)
Block B: approx. 200 people (rough orientation: Men's Teams 11-20, Mixed Teams 11-20, Women's Teams 6-10)

Block D: approx. 200 people (rough orientation: Men's Teams 31-40, Mixed Teams 31-40, Women's Teams 16-20)
Block E: all other teams as well as all teams without team time trial results
What is the main race course like? Are there GPX files?
You can view and download the exact course and GPX files in the Komoot collection.
Note: Always be aware of your surroundings and don’t let your bike computer or similar devices distract you!

What does "Neutralized Zone" mean and how far does it extend?
A neutralized zone means that the race is not yet open in this section and no timing occurs. In this section, the pace car must not be overtaken to minimize the risk of accidents in the first kilometers. The time measurement and the race begins at about kilometer 6 (near C&C just before Immenstadt).

Does the road traffic regulations (StvO) apply on a closed course?
Yes, absolutely. Although all necessary safety precautions have been taken to ensure no traffic is on the course, 100% safety cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, the right-hand driving rule must be strictly followed for sporting reasons to allow faster athletes to overtake, thus minimizing the risk of accidents.

Are there time limits?
Yes, there are three cutoffs:
Cutoff 1 is at 10:15 AM at the start of the Riedbergpass.
Cutoff 2 is at 10:40 AM at the summit of the Riedbergpass at the aid station.
Cutoff 3 is at 12:15 PM at the Berggasthaus Rohrmoos.
