What do I need to bring?
That's up to you. Here are some smart tips from us:
- a functioning road bike including spare parts and very well-functioning brakes, as well as a cassette suitable for the climbing profile
- two filled bike bottles
- race nutrition for the race
- ID card and health insurance card
- strong legs

Where is the campsite and how do I find my pitch?
Can I book hotels through you? Are there official race hotels?
Are there bike mechanics before and during the race?
Absolutely. The mechanics from RAD RACE can be found at the Parktool booth on the expo, and SRAM and Radstation Sonthofen are also available. On the course, SRAM mechanics will be at the start of the Riedbergpass, and mechanic vehicles will be present at specific points in the field. Simply wait for them.
Can you only participate with a road bike?
Only road bikes and gravel bikes are allowed. There is a strict ban on e-bikes, time trial bikes, mountain bikes, and so on.
Can I securely park my bike at the event area?
Yes, there is a supervised bike park directly at the event area during the expo opening hours.
Note: No parking is available overnight!
Where are the showers and changing rooms? Is there a clothes storage?
Showers and changing rooms are located at the start in the
Heribert-Wilhelm gym. There you can also store clothing during the race on sunday in a closed bag or backpack (no loose items!).
Note: Last pickup at 4:00 PM.
