Do I have to attend the Riders Briefing?
Yes and no. It is obligatory to attend this Riders Briefing. Also for your own safety. However, there will also be a livestream, which will be available online afterwards.

When does the team time trial start? When does my team start at the team time trial?
Starts will take place in intervals between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The start times of the teams will be published on the 808project website and shared via the WhatsApp broadcast. Note: Please be at the start channel at least 10 minutes before your start time, as each team is only given one start time. A late start is not possible!

Do I or my team have to participate in the team time trial?
No, participation is not necessary. However, if you do not participate, you will start from the last starting block in the main race.

How is the team time trial scored? Who will be honored?
The sum of the three fastest individuals is counted and used for the starting lineup on Sunday. It doesn't matter how many people ride. Although teams must start together, they do not need to ride together. The fastest person in each category will be honored in the evening. For mixed teams, the sum of the three fastest individuals of both genders is counted (2 men, 1 woman or vice versa). If only one gender starts, the assignment to the starting block will be based on that gender. Mixed team scoring can still be achieved for Sunday if both genders are represented on that day.

What is the prologue course like? Are there GPX files?
We´ll provid you with the GPX files in the near future.
Note: Always be aware of your surroundings and don't let your bike computer or similar devices distract you!

What are the spectator hotspots / cheering zones?
The Allgäu Special at "Herbert's Bänkle." Up and down riding athletes and all spectators will be energized here by the legendary "Trio."

How are the starting blocks for the main race divided?
The starting blocks are divided based on the results from the team time trial on Saturday. The exact number of teams cannot be determined in advance, as it depends on the sizes of the respective teams qualifying for each starting block. Non-participation in the team time trial will automatically result in starting in Block E.

Block B: approx. 200 people (rough orientation: Men's Teams 11-20, Mixed Teams 11-20, Women's Teams 6-10)
